Belleville was founded in 1996 in Bologna. At the beginning actors performed in the Impro Match, but soon they explored different ways of working with improvisation, mostly related to theatres and movies genre. Their shows, apart from theatresports, reflect a deep love for Greek Tragedy, Elizabethian Theater, Horror Movies, Pirandello Metatheater, Spaghetti Western, Science Fiction and every crazy thing you can use for creating a scene. Belleville's actors performed in ten different countries, in four different languages and managed to get the last position in every tournament they participated.

In the recent past we were invited here:

- THEATERSPORT EM ’08, Switzerland: June 2008.

Belleville represented Italy, joining groups from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Switzerland.

- EIT Theatersport Festival, Switzerland: February 2008.

Belleville is back in Zurich, trying to give their best to the festival. This time they play with the home team, the Belgians and the Russians.

- EIT Theatersport Festival, Switzerland: February 2007.

The first experience in Switzerland. Belleville meets teams from Slovenia and Germany and of course, the EITs!

- Amsterdam International Improvisation Festival, Nederlands: January, 2007.

Coming from different experiences abroad for the first time the Belleville actors join together.
